Last night I bedded down early with a cold, but not before writing my To Do list for today – a William day. It was as follows:
– Clean bathroom
– Clear stairs and livingroom of clothes
– Bake plum cake
– Delicates wash
– Clean compacts
– Put bread on (we have a machine)
– Edit list of fashion blogs for first email
– Meet NCT mums for coffee in town
It’s now 8.10pm. I have completed exactly one of the above. Bake plum cake. And it didn’t rise.
I did start at least five of the list, I promise. Head cold, William, and an Asda trip conspired against me. Turned out William had eaten all the liquidised salmon in the freezer, so I had to head out in the snow for supplies. Getting rather friendly with an old lady and her Trixie who hit the park at the same time as me on William days. 3.30pm. W has a Routine. Meaning that even if I achieve nothing during the day, at least I’ve been punctual.
Anyway, husband’s now away for three days so it’s William all the way for me from tomorrow morning. VanRoe needs marketing, baby needs feeding, watering and entertaining. On schedule. I know where I’d put my money.
