I’m Jane Johnston and I’m a vintage compact collector, product designer and internet business mum. I live in Halifax in Yorkshire, England with my husband and two little boys, William (Billy) and Joseph (Joji).

My company Vanroe Compacts Ltd is the online specialist in powder compacts. My compacts have been featured in magazines like The Telegraph, The Stylist and Homes & Antiques, and are shipped to customers worldwide. I am currently working on a new collection of compacts and vintage-inspired beauty accessories for British brand, Stratton. I really love what I do.

Jane, I have a Stratton compact that has never been used. There is an S.S. United States insignia on the cover with an eagle on a flag. The back is gold. I would like to sell it but have no idea of its value. Would you be familiar with this.
